Our city, Auckland | Tamaki Makaurau, stretches North, South, East and West from
downtown. 
Our region reaches north to Matakana and beyond, south to Pukekohe, West
through the Waitakere Ranges and Awhitu Peninsular and east across to Waiheke Island.
It is diverse in cultures and creative practice, regional galleries and museums.

We live here, we work and play here. We believe there is a lot on offer across our
city for cultural tourism. Use our self guided walks below to help you find your
way around our art galleries and waterfront. Visit the Auckland Art Gallery website,
and discover our citywide public art. 
You will find art and culture in all the 
corners of our city.
