London and Paris
with Claire Chamberlain

June 2026

Join Claire Chamberlain and ArtTravel in London and Paris in June 2026 to visit a plethora of galleries and museums along with exciting private collections and artists’ studios. Travel to London for nine nights and Paris for five nights.

London is full of incredible museums and galleries. Explore the collections and temporary exhibitions of major galleries like Tate Modern and the National Gallery, but also visit hidden gems, including The Dulwich Picture Gallery, The Soane and Leighton House Museum

Head west for top old-guard British art galleries and the high-powered international art galleries. Visit Whitechapel Gallery, a cultural titan in the
heart of London’s east end which has been at the forefront of contemporary art since 1901 and the two sites of one of the world’s leading contemporary
art galleries, White Cube

Head out of the city to visit Margate, the home of Tracey Emin and Joseph Mallord Turner and then to Somerset for Hauser & Wirth, an idyllic setting
for contemporary art in farmland and gardens.

Paris too has a wealth of world-class museums and galleries from the astounding Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay and its painters whose names read like a roll call of the Western Art History canon to the Pinault Collection where a vast collection offers a perspective on the art from the 1960s to now.

Explore the gardens and house of the Rodin Museum, dedicated to the work of celebrated French sculptor Auguste Rodin and visit the Musée de
l’Orangerie, the permanent home of the late murals by Claude Monet, and works by preeminent European painters.

Experience the Centre Pompidou which houses the rest collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe and is close to the art hub of Le Marais, a little paradise of contemporary art galleries in the centre of Paris.

Travel then to Arles in the south of France. The city, home to Vincent van Gogh in the 1880s, offers everything from its stunning Roman amphitheatre to LUMA, both a huge park and home to galleries and the ‘crumpled’ metallic magnicence of Le Tour (The Tower) designed by the architect Frank Gehry which sits in the heart of the Parc des Ateliers.

It is a veritable cultural cornucopia.

Then, it’s back to Paris to depart for home.
