TOKYO

Our tour began and finished in Tokyo. We spent the first full day walking the streets of Harajuku and Omotesando. From the pop culture of Takeshita Street and its petting cafes, to the urban cool of Cat Street, the Watarium, Nanzuka Underground, Fergus McCaffrey Gallery and Spiral  - we cover the gamut of contemporary art. Architecture on both a private and public scale was everywhere.

Our second stay in Tokyo at the end of our tour was spent in Ginza. We started at Ginza Six, with its rooftop and coffee, to Kogei Kanazawa and Whitestone Gallery to the Okuno Building, Maison Hermes Le Forum, and the architectual wonder of the Toda Building its contemporary galleries.

We spied the fashion icon Hanae Mori at the National Art Center in Roppongi as well as the galleries of Pyramide.

Tokyo is always a great place to start and finish a tour.
