Suggested Itinerary

Friday 19th March 2027

Make your way to Whanganui today on Air Chathams and be met on arrival. We prefer to arrive on the morning flight - but the 3pm is also great.
A late afternoon artist visit to start the weekend off, and a welcome drink at Porridge Watson.

Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st March 2027

Spend two days fully immersed in the Artist Open Studio experience, meet the artists and visit other studios outside the programme as well. Not to miss out on the Whanganui River Markets or the Quarts Museum of Studio Ceramics along the way.

Whether it is Duncan Pavillion and Castlecliff, Taupo Quay and Drews Ave, or among the many other studios and galleries - a fun and interesting time will be had by all.
Visit a private home along the way.
Enjoy a meal together on Saturday evening.

Monday 22nd March 2027

We finish up our time today visiting the Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery and the Whanganui Regional Museum before we head to the airport for our afternoon flight home.
