Joining me will be people who bring very different perspectives to the world of art - Sue Gardiner, Co-Director of the Chartwell Collection; Claire Chamberlain, art historian, curator and tour leader; as well as Peter and Julie Collis, our Japan ceramics tour leaders.
Together we’ll share the ideas and discoveries shaping each tour, the experiences, the places we’ve uncovered, and some of the thoughtful details that you won’t find in an itinerary.
Because for me, Art Travel has always been about getting beneath the surface of a place - seeing great art, certainly, but also hearing the stories behind it, meeting the people who bring a creative community to life, and sharing those experiences with a group of curious, like-minded travellers.
